What I'm doing at the moment

I'm currently experimenting with the SQL code necessary to read, write and update information store in the table of a database.

I am finalising the content of the web pages such as photo’s and information on places mentioned.

I have also just finished my project progress review 1 report document.

After careful consideration i have set my mind on the

navigation bar to the right of this blog entry. I believe

that the layout of the buttons together with the rollovers

that accompany them will compliment each of my proposed

designs nicely. The buttons are following the green and white

colour scheme which I have favoured since I first started

brain-storming the design of the website.

Design Layouts

I have just uploaded three of my design layouts that i have been working on over christmas. Please answer my poll to tell me which one you prefer.

I think i have decided on a design for my website, but I am going to have to run it past project supervisor before I can set the idea in stone. The design hasn't just been plucked from thin air, instead I incorporated my favourite aspects of the two designs I had previously put forward.

Focusing on the task at hand...

Today I took some photographs of select locations around Limerick City, it was hard to get photos that accurately reflected that this site was not another tourist magnet but i believe I have a few good candidates for my home page and some others around the site. I will bring them into Photoshop in the near future (fingers crossed), before the end of next week I am sure.
