I managed to sort out my image submission problem!

I'm still trying to resolve my image form submission problem...

On a new and exciting note though, I have arranged my transport for taking the last of the photos for my site!!

More Coding!!

Ok, I am trying to figure out how to do the following:

1) Get an image to submit a form.
2) Make that image also pass a String value to the Servlet. (as the generic buttons do)

I have got part one working, not a problem, but I am encountering numerous problems with part two. I have tried hard coding in values to no avail, and putting in Hidden fields in the forms doesn't work either. I'm still hard at it though, as I'm sure I am getting closer to solving the problem!

Still Coding...

I have gone through two or three draft questionnaires for my "Have Your Day Planned" section of the project. I am happy with it at the moment, but there is still some testing to be done. It returns some funny activities at strange times (Horse Riding at 8pm) but I'm sure a few tweaks in the information in the database will sort all that out!

As a whole though, so far so good with my Servlet.

Code Research

I am in the process of researching how JSP code interacts with a java servlet. I have got a few little jsp pages connecting with a database during my time researching the in's and out's of servlets.

I have got a login page function working, and a few buttons linking to screens. I hope to get my head down and figure out how to get my "Have Your Day Planned" questionnaire working next.

What I'm doing at the moment

I'm currently experimenting with the SQL code necessary to read, write and update information store in the table of a database.

I am finalising the content of the web pages such as photo’s and information on places mentioned.

I have also just finished my project progress review 1 report document.

After careful consideration i have set my mind on the

navigation bar to the right of this blog entry. I believe

that the layout of the buttons together with the rollovers

that accompany them will compliment each of my proposed

designs nicely. The buttons are following the green and white

colour scheme which I have favoured since I first started

brain-storming the design of the website.
